BIO

Tom Goss is an unapologetically queer singer-songwriter known for his expertly crafted songs and storytelling that explore the joys and struggles of modern love.

A prolific writer and performer, Tom has released seven albums, produced dozens of music videos, and performed thousands of shows across the U.S., Canada, and Europe to a growing base of dedicated fans.

Tom’s music is known for its raw honesty, spotlighting themes such as marriage equality, the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, body positivity (“Bears”), and emotional resilience. His songs have been featured on ABC, HBO, Disney+, and Univision. His musical style—ranging from power-pop to folk-rock to Americana—resonates deeply across both pop and LGBTQ+ communities.

Tom’s visually striking music videos, including Breath and Sound, Son of a Preacher Man, and Amsterdam, have earned praise from The Daily Beast, HuffPost, The Advocate, and NewNowNext, and have collectively garnered over 21 million views.

Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Tom attended college in Missouri on a wrestling scholarship with plans to become a schoolteacher. A year of student teaching changed his path, but still committed to making a difference, he surprised his family and friends by entering a Catholic seminary in Washington, D.C., to become a priest. Frustrated by a series of #MeToo experiences, Tom began channeling his voice through songwriting and performing. After a decade in D.C., he relocated to Los Angeles in 2015.

Tom's latest single, Bear Soup, offers a fresh take on queer body positivity and is quickly becoming a summer 2025 anthem, amassing over 16 million views on TikTok alone in its first three weeks. For tour dates and more, visit www.tomgossmusic.com or follow @tomgossmusic on social media.
